Emmanuel Dziwornu is a Clinical psychologist with several years of experience in clinical practice in Ghana. In the past five years, he has been the only clinical psychologist serving the northing sector of Ghana. He also represents the Ghana Psychological Association in Northern Ghana. Currently, he is the resident clinical psychologist at the Tamale Teaching Hospital. Emmanuel consults for the Lapaz Community Hospital and Total House Clinic all in Accra. He has conducted several organisational trainings, counselling sessions for individuals and organizations and presentations at churches. As a consultant clinical psychologist for Total Life Enhancement Centre he leads trainings in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programmes, provides psychological interventions for individuals, families and organizations. Emmanuel is a part-time researcher and lecturer with the Methodist University College, Ghana. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at the University of Ghana, Legon. His expertise is using cognitive behavioural therapy in managing emotional and mental health challenges of individuals and groups. Emmanuel’s research interest is in disaster and psychological adjustment.
